This is a real aircraft enthusiasts dream. The museum is quite small but they have a wide range of different aircraft on display. You boys in particular will enjoy it because they can play in many of the aircraft and sit in the cockpits.More

This is a totally refreshing museum, it's probably the first aircraft museum where you are allowed to actually enter them. There was also a volunteer on each aircraft to tell you what it was and the history. Well worth a visitMore

It is twenty years since we visited this aircraft museum, home of the mosquito airplane. It is much bigger, better organised and has more on display. And there are many volunteers waiting to answer questions, show the visitor more and infect us with their enthusiasm.

Thanks for your review of our Museum.Its Much appreciated especially by our unpaid volunteers who are passionate about the de Havilland legacy. We close for the winter next Sunday 4th November and reopen on Sunday 17th February. Hope to see you again in 2019.

Yes you can sit in most of the air crafts. But I did not record the number. Sorry for late response just opened my Trip Advisor account.

Yes - it is possible to sit in the cockpit of some of the aircraft and go into the cabins of some of the commercial jets. The whole site is very user- and child-friendly. There is a good café.
