First time taking my one year old son as we’ve been before with my daughter and she had the best time when she was little, unfortunately this time we didn’t have a good time. As it was half term it was fairly busy with young children and older. My son, being one, was into everything but obviously I wouldn’t let him snatch things off other kids but he was playing close to them because it was busy and he had no other choice. He then got elbow pushed twice in the neck by a little girl on purpose - whose mum was watching but just didn’t care, he got told by older boys that he was allowed in certain rooms because they were in there and another little girl who wouldn’t let him in another room. I’m not one to start a confrontation with an adult let alone obviously a child so we just felt very pushed out. Even though we paid to use the whole facility I just couldn’t bare to watch my son get pushed, elbowed or told he couldn’t do anything any longer so we decided to just leave. It was a shame because he loved the time that we were there playing with what he could. It wasn’t little streets fault but we just didn’t have a very good experience that day. We didn’t tell the staff as didn’t want to create anything and in my opinion should be down to their parents to tell them off as they were there watching the kids. Apart from that, it was clean and tidy and maybe would return when it isn’t half term.

Great fun with my 2 year old. There’s lots to see and lots to play with, would definitely return and recommend! There’s a little cafe inside too where you can order some food and drinks.
Parking is not free unfortunately and it did feel a little cramped with too many children but we had a great time.

In the last 3yrs, I have only experienced 1 unhelpful member of staff. This is an excellent facility, so I treated my grandson to 10 vouchers & today was his first visit. The website showed 26 available spaces, so my son phoned to book a slot using 2 of the vouchers, leaving a message, he also phoned a further 2 times. Despite 26 available places being available on the website, my son arrived to be told that they were fully booked. It is Not acceptable to not update the website, when your customers are often traveling to visit. Which in my sons case was 40 mins. Nor is it acceptable not to listen to your phone messages. May I strongly suggest that you reinstate your once good customer service.

Held a third birthday party here for my son, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, the whole booking process from start to finish was very easy and straight forward. Gwen and her team were amazing, made the party go smoothly and helped keep everything relaxed.

The buggy policy is in serious need of review and amendment. As it currently stands it is totally impractical for parents with two children. I have 2 children, aged 3yrs and a 3 month old baby. My baby was sleeping in her buggy on entry. I was told i would have to leave the buggy at the entrance. When I explained that I could not leave my baby at the entrance unsupervised the manager was then called. No reason was given as to why the buggy was not allowed in the seating area but i am guessing they are concerned with pathways being blocked. I have been to countless other soft plays etc with very similar set ups where buggys are always allowed in. I suggested exercising some discretion in the policy, given the impractical nature of the choice of leaving one child unsupervised by rigidly following this policy, and offered a suggestion of my buggy being parked right next to a table where no pathways were being blocked, so that I could supervise and care for both children. The manager refused and stated only if i could detatch the seat from the frame, which i could not. I jokingly said to the manager that my only option therefore, if they did not allow any discretion on the policy, was to leave my 3 month old baby unattended at the entrance and they would have to alert me if the baby cried. To my surprise they agreed. I obviously didn't take them up on this offer and was forced to leave.
I would therefore suggest that any parents with two children, including a baby, visit an alternative soft play. I will not be visiting little street again.
Edit: I have been informed that the policy is not due to blocking exits but in fact because they believe buggy wheels are a 'health hazard' purely due to potential bacteria on the wheels. If this policy is to be rigidly enforced to achieve the aim of eliminating outside bacteria, then all entrants will need to remove their shoes at the entrance, which pose an equal health hazard to that of a buggy wheel, in terms of eliminating potential bacteria, which funnily enough they do not request you do. This is clearly a policy which needs amending because it is actually causing more safety issues than it intends to prevent and will eventually result in a child being hurt or other consequences of a child being left unattended.

I’m very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our buggy policy. The policy is primarily in place for fire safety, and whilst larger soft plays have more space to accommodate buggies, most small role play centres have the same rule as Little Street. There are also hygiene benefits as noted by the staff member, but the policy is enforced to ensure we meet the necessary health and safety regulations. We do make customers aware when booking, and again in the confirmation email that’s sent. The company has operated the same policy for 8 years, with most parents using a car seat or baby carrier, or making use of the high chairs or baby soft play available, so it’s rarely an issue. We are sorry that you feel it’s unsuitable, but I’m sure you can appreciate that health and safety has to be our priority.

Absolutely disgusting treatment of my disabled mother. She has to wear specialist shoes to walk and is at significant risk of an accident if she does not wear these, which would be extremely dangerous as she has osteoporosis. Whilst caring for my three year old nephew, I booked tickets for my parents to visit this afternoon as nice family day out. We have visited before and there was no issue with my mother wearing her shoes in the play area. However, on this occasion my mother phoned up and was told this wouldn't be a problem as shoe covers would be provided. However, when she was arrived, she was presented with two plastic bags! It is disgraceful to suggest you have shoe covers and provide something which is a trip hazard and would have not only risked a serious injury to my mother but also caused terrible upset and embarrassment. This situation was exacerbated by the fact my mother also has kidney disease and was therefore not able to access the toilets as these were within the play area. How anyone can think this is an acceptable approach is outrageous. Avoid if you require any reasonable adjustments as they won't be accommodated.

Such a great place for kids! So clean with the staff even cleaning items during the play session. Very well managed with great staff. Our two granddaughters had a fantastic time being hairdressers, vets, construction people, cafe staff and dressing up in the various costumes available. Would definitely recommend and such good value too.

The one hour 20 minutes time slot was perfect.
Great place for little people (and their tag along big people)
Fun times using imagination playing in the different areas. The shop was well stocked, the vets was very professional, the beauty salon had all you need, the dressing up choice was very good, the building site was fun and the cafe had lots to choosefrom.....all in the land of pretend.
Place was clean and all the utensils constantly being wiped.
Remember to book in advance.

Once children can walk they can play with everything at Little Street. We even have younger visitors that can only crawl and pull up to stand, yet they still seem to find plenty to entertain themselves :-)
