Fantastic visit. When went into one house and was greeted by a woman called ‘Hannah’ she gave us a tour around her home and stayed in character. This brought the experience to life! Thank you so much. A great day. Thanks you.

The museum shows films, pictures of years gone by of how the miners lived and worked. I especially liked viewing the cottages and comparing one from 1901 to one from 1969.

Beautiful lake views from the Llanberis Quarry. Recommend a visit to the museum, it is free and gives a fantastic insight to the importance of slate mining to the area.
