What a beautiful beach. A long strand at low tide and a wonderful spot from which to watch the surfers. There were some beautiful waves here and the surfers were enjoying themselves right up until dark. And some good food nearby. (Catch)

Mawgan Porth nestles in a valley & you have to negotiate hair pin bends to get there, but it is well worth it. The beach is beautiful golden sand, with rocks & sand dunes around the edge. It is well maintained, so there is little...More

Lovely Beach very good for swimming, surfing etc. Lifeguards on the Beach and hire beach products available. Plenty of good Cafe's and restaurants and local walks looking down on the beach.

We were staying at a rental house, Sea Thrift, up on the hill above Mawgan Porth, and had the joy of walking down to the beach every morning. Whether it was bright sun, or scudding clouds and mizzle, this is a perfect place to take...More

This is a lovely beach, and very clean. Good rock pools and a stream that you can paddle in if you don’t fancy the sea. Lifeguards were on duty when we were there. Lots of surfers and dog walkers. Access to the coastal path. Cafes...More

Great facilities. The Merrymoor pub food is great. This beach is very well placed for cliff top walks to both Bedruthan steps & Watergate Bay.

Stayed at the Scarlet Hotel, overlooking this beach, and it was such a stunning view to wake up to. Beautiful sand, typical huge tides and immense amounts of soft sand. Clean too with good RNLI coverage.

Loved our visits to Mawgan Porth. We stayed 5 mins away. Car parks are £3.00 and £3.50. The one near the chip shop offers refund against purchases in Coasta Coffee and pub. Wood fired pizza after 5pm near pitch and putt was lovely as was...More

Hi, there's a car park right opposite the beach - they do tend to put the prices up during holiday season mind you. The entrance is right next to Betty's newsagents.
