Lovely beach with a great river running down it allowing the children (/daddy) lots of fun building little rivers and islands. Bettys newsagents at the top of the beach sells a good range of icecreams and newspapers, and there are toilets too.

With us staying in St.mawgan we came to this beach a few times and it's a lovely walk to get to the sea, nice to see lots of dogs with their owners enjoying themselves, a few caves to explore also.

If you have not visited Mawgan Porth beach you should. A huge expanse of sand with waves breaking at one end. Dog walkers paradise.

We visited on a freezing cold but beautiful sunny February day. At low tide the beach is much bigger than you’d expect and goes out a long way. Amazing fine sand, clean, despite being dog friendly and with a strong north wind there were big...More

A little beauty of a beach, tucked away between Newquay and Padstow. We went at low tide and explored the foreshore and caves.

We stayed locally for 3 days, and this beach is just stunning. A massive expanse of sand at low tide, and due to the very gentle gradient, when the tide does turn its slow and steady up the beach so shouldn't catch you out. Lifeguards...More
