bring thermals! Food is good and hospitatility great. Chalets are lovely. fishing was also fun. The Alpine landscape, fauna and flora is unique. Highly recommended.

Having escaped a torrid storm we managed to find accommodation at the afriski backpackers. After paying an arm and a leg for a room that could be best described as "Pollsmoorish" and had a cold shower I'm hindsight I think I world rather have braved...More

This is a beautiful and peaceful resort. Peaceful because we visited a week just after the Skiing season. I have always wanted to visit the resort and I must say my expectations were met.Check it out guys. It is worth it.

Nice accomodation in such a remote Place. It is a warm welcome in the Restaurant But a cold experience in the accommodation. Empty Gas bottles is a no Go.

Hi, Yes, you need a passport as you will be travelling via the Border at Caledon. A passport should take around 1 -2 weeks (although they have been known to be ready in 3 days), so please plan accordingly.
