We did a short hike to the first refugio due to time constraints on our end. The hike went through a lovely confluence of the Rio and the Confluencia - beautiful location with a snack bar. The hike is easy and well marked. There are...More

We hike down and kind took a shortcut ending on a path surrounded by plenty of wild blackberry bushes. You end up at the river and the water is so beautiful and clear, and fresh.

It takes a 30 min hike to climb up the mountain and enjoy the great view. Worth all the while. Bring water with you.

This hicking trail is amazing. I't beautifull to see and there are different mountain shelters to have a meal or even spend the night at. Some are close enought for a day's hicke and others are farther. you just need a sleeping bag.

Not a particularly hard walk, some hills, but absolutely gorgeous scenery, particularly the river and canyon, crazy clear blue water. Make sure to get as far as the Refugio Cajon del Azul for a beer and a bite to eat

Wonderful place, lovely bridges. The walk was a bit hard though for an ocassional trekker (specially if you are going to return on the same day!).
