Nice working local harbour. Nice view over Øresund. Close to Louisiana and Humlebæk Kirke, and the cementary Lake and old part of the harbour

Small but lovely
Jul 2016
This charming harbour is small and home to three little fishing boats that bring fish in every day. It is also home to a small number of sailing yachts and a boat club. The fish shop is certainly worth a visit if you are self catering as you will not find fresher fish anywhere.

An authentic atmosphere
Jul 2016 • Couples
The harbor is surrounded by beautiful nature, beautiful beaches and beautiful sights. 300 m north of the harbor you will find a lovely family beach "Babylone Beach" and immediately around the harbor a protected area with forests, meadows and the beautiful fisher houses.
The harbour was original built as a gunboat port after the war against England (Englandskrigen) when the Danish navy were stolen by the Englishmen in 1807. It is rather special because it is built of natural materials in the form boulders and wood.
As mention before, behind the port lies the fine fishing village consisting of 18 protected buildings with characteristic, low fences around.
The nearest neighbor is the famous museum of modern art Louisiana and Humlebæk Church with its beautiful cemetery.

This harbor is special because it`s very small but very nice and simply just a place to go if you wanna relax to the sound of the sea.

Good swimming, pebble beach
Jul 2014 • Family
Easy access to water, stones and pebbles, some sandy stretches. We did not see major facilities, so it seems a basic spot to go for a quick swim

Nothing much to see or do
Aug 2013 • Family
Lovely and well-run little harbor for pleasure boats, but that is all there is. It is close to Louisiana Museum, but otherwise not much reason to come by.
