I enjoyed the tour but was a little disappointed they didn't allow photos inside. The staircase at the entrance is very grand and the property was influenced by Versailles. We also visited the hunting lodge a few miles away which is also pretty impressive.

The ladies at the reception worked very slow, so we hesitated if we should participate in a tour. But we did, and the young lady who led us through the schloss did it perfect. Interesting details, short but to the point information . Absolutely a must

We did not enter the palace, as it obviously was closed, but the gardens were pretty and large. The entry to the gardens was free of charge.

We love castles and palaces. This was a treat. The docent was well informed, the exhibits in English, and the setting wonderful. Don't forget the gift shop and reproductions of the tiles.

I think there are some reconstruction works ongoing because the castle itself cannot be visited. The gardens are beautiful decorated with flowers, labyrinths and fountains. The entire castle is reminding of the Vienna ones. There is no entrance fee for the castle area and gardens....More
