I visited St. Leonard's tower with my son (Leonard) as we were in the area and because I told him it was once owned by someone with his name. There's not much parking, but we parked on the road just down from the tower and...More

Visited St Leonard’s Tower after visiting the park just across the road.. Worth a quick look around, but during my visit there was very little access (I don’t think it’s open to the public inside) Standing tall, can be seen from afar.. the grounds around...More

Nobody seems to be sure what the tower was used for. It does not look as though it was part of the castle. Built circa 1100, it is a sturdy, impressive reminder of Norman architecture . Historians tend to believe it was a watch tower...More

I like the tower. Only I dont like is the sourrounding of this tower. Someone should take care of it. Good for stopping by for up to 15min or less. You can park car next to it.

Visited today but it's access is incredibly limited sadly to prior arrangement but you have to ring the council only in the morning Some unrealised potential

Stopped off on the way to West Malling, Not much to see and parking wasn't really available unless you park in the country park (small charge)

Not much is known about this tower or even what it's main use was for but still it's history and that I love. Yes its small and yes you need to phone on a weekday morning to view inside but guess what it's an old...More

If you're nearby, stop for a look. You'll need to park a short walk away at the Manor Park Country Park car lot. However, if it's not a weekday morning, you'll be unable to gain access to the interior - access is done by calling...More
