Great food and crafts

Best to get a bus or taxi as parking may not be nearby. Great place to buy different things and the food is so varied.excellent steak sandwich. You may wish to ask for ths steak to be cooked more to your liking but very tasty and the relish is excellent.

Totally worth visiting while in Cape Town! You will not leave this place hungry - so much food from all over the world and all is super fresh :)

What a surprise!

We stumbled across this wonderful market while antiquing in Woodstock on Saturday morning. Although it was freezing weather the market was buzzing., `Lots of interesting food options and enough to occupy you for a whole morning. We will certainly be back but perhaps by Uber as parking could be an issue

Best market
Feb 2020
This Saturday market was highly recommended to us and after our visit we understand why. Superior market goods, great dining options including the outstanding food market. Would have loved to bring things home, but Australia's customs regulation frown on this.

Great vibe

The market was really busy which takes some time to walk around and see everything however it’s such a great vibe. There are lots of different food options to suit everyone. If you like food markets and a busy vibe then I really recommend visiting

Come Hungry
Sep 2019
This is just the kind of local experience we love to find when traveling. While not technically street food, it has the vibe a street food zone in which your head is spinning with the different sights and smells. Come hungry. There are so many flavors both local and worldwide to try. From the familiar comfort food like grilled sandwiches to just about every ethnic food you can imagine. And when you're full, there is plenty of shopping at craft stalls and permanent retail shops located in the Old Biscuit Mill. I believe it is only held on Saturday, so if you will be in Cape Town on a Saturday, this is a great way to spend a morning. Skip breakfast, grab an uber, and enjoy. Its really a fun experience

What a fabulous market! We spend hours there listening to music, tasting different foods, doing a bit of shopping and just relaxing.
It is very clean, safe and well maintained.

Fantastic place
Sep 2019
Spend all day here, I didn’t get enough time here and as I was only in Cape Town a week, my favourite market, eat all the local food and embrace the market, buy some local art and enjoy the atmosphere and music

Great chilled place for a Saturday
Apr 2019 • Solo
They Neighborgoods Market at the Old Biscuit Mill is a great spot to visit on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m.
It combines street food, live music and a part with shops and a market.
Very chilled atmosphere.
It can get a bit crowded, but still one of my favourite spots in Cape Town. As it can get crowded parking can get difficult. Therefore it is recommended to come by taxi or similar.

Amazing place

Amazing food and vibe. I must see even though if you just passing through cape town,

Nice covered place with lots of places to eat, loves the test kitchen stand had the bacon eggs Benedict and was very good, finding a place to sit may be difficult but normal as a food market would have... just go easy in the impulse buy.
