We did not like it at all. The place has potential but they are definitely not reinvesting much of the money they charge visitors to improve it. Save your 10,000 pesos and buy yourself an almuerzo.

The site of these holes is in the middle of nowhere; going by quad runners or motor bikes or on horses would be more fun than by taxi, which was the way we did. Once there, you look at the holes and that’s it...I did...More

They will charge you 10.000 pesos for the right to walk 45 minutes to see six green pools of water in semi-urban surroundings. It is a nice walk to stretch your legs, but hardly worth the cost. The are signs saying that it can be...More

A must see if visiting Villa de Leyva. The water was a little cold but what are you gonna do about it. Best to go midweek if possible and avoid the crowds

we took a horseback ride down here and it was beautiful. I would really only recommend it if it was a stop on horseback though.

There are much better things to see around Villa de Leyva. These are artificial pools with blue or green water along a dirt path. It was overcast when we visited so I’m sure they look better when it’s sunny. Loop trail takes about 45 minutes...More

If you are looking for a spot of water to escape the heat, then by all means, this may be a nice idea. But the pictures around town that suggest turquoise lakes are quite misleading. More like watering holes in the dessert.

This place is one of my favorites in Colombia, it's a place with a very beautiful view, so you can have a good time to stay there with your family near the 'lakes'
