Another shining example of magnificent late Baroque in Scicli is Chiesa di San Giovanni Evagelista. The three-order harmonious facade matches the beauty of the bright interior richly decorated with elaborate stucco ornaments and beautiful central oval painting of the ceiling. Gorgeous church!

This is off the main pedestrian street in the town centre and it has a light uplifting interior that is well worth visiting.
