This was a great find and absolutely loved being there. Best going down in the afternoon when the tide has come in, but we waited. Beach volleyball facilities, bars, restaurants, playground, shop, showers, toilets and lively place to fly a kite and entertain the kids....More

Fantastic beach with lovely views, beautiful sand and a great variety of shells. Some good restaurants over looking the bay as well. Well worth a day out even in winter.

We visited Carantec town and ended up on the beach when the sun came out. Very clean and peaceful. Kids loved playing on the sand and in the water.

Beautiful walks along the coast to all the beaches on the peninsula. The free shuttle bus can also be used to get to any area.

This is a beach with a car park and several restaurants. But beware, it is very windy and the water is cold.
