This is a nice place to climb up to the top of the town and have a good cup of tea, or lunch. It was being renovated when we visited, but you can still see some of the original stones. The view is very special

This place is amazing, you can go to the cafe on top of the castle and have astonishing views of all Rize and the Black Sea, as well, you will find a Mosque that was built in 1658. This castle is very historical since it...More

It's possible to easily walk from the town centre to the castle. It's a little steep in places. A taxi wouldn't be expensive it's so close. There are nice views over Rize and the sea on the right, and on the left you can see...More
