Right on the doorstep on Saltaire what a lovely trek we had ...protected wooded land, boggy marsh, farmland, views great pub and wonderful kind people filled our day.

Horses ridden golf played, ice cream sold and children made, To walk - it's good for your health!! Fantastic views of which I get to see every work going to and coming home form work.

Parked in the rough car park and grandson loved riding his balance bike on the well worn tracks on the moor. Looking over to Hawksworth it feels like you suspended in mid air, one of my favourite places and a great place for young ones...More

We live locally in Horsforth and so have been here walking many times. The great thing about Baildon moor is it has so many paths but isn't massive so it's very difficult to get lost. Check out the Baildon walkers are welcome website for some...More

Walked up here from Saltaire. First time I've been on this small stretch of moorland. Great views on a fine day, and a pleasant place for a walk. Fairly steep (but steady) ascent from Shipley Glen won't suit everyone, and there's a squeeze stile Twiggy...More

Hi there, We didn't actually do a walk on the moor. There is a gravel car park at the the top where you can sit and admire the view. But I would say you could make the walk as long or as short as you like!? It depends what... More
