No water in the river. It was very difficult to find and not worth going at all. The trip by car up the mountains is much better.

From the bridge at Jimena you can walk along past the old bomb factory ruins (18th century) and either go up into old Jimena or continue round to the camp site, taking in the cave paintings. Make sure you do this early in the summer...More

Lovely walks near the Hozgarganta river and surrounding hills. Excellent walks with good wide paths and signposts to help find your route. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the village to get refreshments and enjoy the views.
