We stayed in the Moon & Spa Hotel which is inside the port area so we had views over the port from the terrace of the hotel.
This port is very nicely done, you can get free parking for 30 minutes before you have to pay.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants within the port and a small night market.
We went on a boat trip which leaves from inside the port and also there are many more activities available if you wish, scuba diving, jet skiing etc.

Spent a couple of hours here. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Rather quiet when we were there so difficult to judge. You pay more for food and drink.

The marina is lovely to walk around, with lots of boats, a few stalls and several bars and restaurants to relax in.

The marina is an attractive spot to take a walk. There are some nice bars and restaurants that look out over the water and beach.

I spent quite a few hours here waiting for a boat and tried out a few of the restaurants and facilities. There's a lot of choice, really great places, lovely food, fantastic service and lovely views from this corner of the bay. A great little marina, much better than Almeria.

We had a stroll on the prom to this little harbour, hoping to get a boat trip. This harbour is missing out as no boat trips were available. We visited in mid June and maybe they don't start them until later into the season. Otherwise a very pleasant stroll to a very pleasant little Puerto.

It is always nice to have a look at all the private boats moored in a Marina, and Aguadulce is no different, the Marina is small by comparison to others such as the one at Almerimar, but it still has a pleasant appearance.
Not many of the bars and restaurants around the Marina seemed to be open for business, perhaps the first week in May had something to do with it, anyway there are several bars etc. on the Paseo Maritimo at the back of the Marina. Worth calling in for look if you are in the area.

Came here in early February last year and it was lively and vibrant. Granted it was a weekend and there was some sort of motorbike rally going on. The bars were full and the atmosphere was brilliant.

What a difference twelve months makes!

Run down, dreary, no atmosphere. Many bars closed down and most of the others being gutted for renovation.

Such a shame, because the bar we did end up in for a glass of wine and tapas was excellent - Bodega Malo Keria. It is not yet on Tripadvisor but should be!
