This small beach was very rewarding for us to cool down after sightseeing the beautiful Pizzo town. There's free parking around and also a shower. The beach was clean and tidy and also calm due to a stone embankment. Many restaurants are around to have...More

We really enjoyed our afternoon and evening at the beach below Pizzo town, No problem parking -a bonus around Pizzo ! Clean beach and a good supply of reasonably-priced restaurants.

We visited Pizzo 5 years ago and went to the city-beach. We were swimming among garbage, and beach infested with cigarette butts and garbage and other less desirable stuff. Came by the beach again this year, just to check it out. Looks cleaner in the...More

Beautiful picturesque area where you can relax. The sand is very fine and the water clear and calm dependant on the weather of course.

Very nice beach. Sand is fine (better than at Tropea), water was temperate and calm and beach is well protected from rough surf. Only downside (true of all beaches in the region) is the ubiquitous presence of cigarette butts in the sand.

We came only for about an hour to this beach, but we loved it. Soft sand on the beach and in the water, no big vawes, lovely town above you. Could be crowded some times, but when we were there (weekday evening) it was quite...More

Small beach, quite well protected from the waves, I imagine it could be very crowded at times, but wasn't when we were there.

Pizzo is a town right on the water and easily accessible from the highway. The restaurants are excellent given that they are open. When we went in June we were unable to find a pizza place that was open. We were passing through for the...More
