This cave chapel was built from faith and dedication. The chapel was first erected in 1600s. The sculptures are still in good, recognizable state.

I spent three weeks in Italy qhere I toured hundreds of large extravagant churches. This place was the best by far. The feeling I had walking in was one of clear and utter serenity. Its a must see for only a few euro's.

Spend a few euros and visit this place. The grotto itself is quite interesting, how many times can you say you visited a seaside grotto filled with rock carvings of Jesus, Mary and the saints? For me, I particularly enjoyed the views of the beach...More

I've visited thousands of churches, but never this kind. It's a small church set literally on a small beach, in a cave some 3 km north of beautiful Pizzo town. If driving there's poor signage, so you better ask locals (I missed it first). There's...More

By accident I visited this place, and I have to say that it's unreal and magic.. The artist has been so clever making all the statues and the structure.. It's unbelievable.. Go and have a look. You will love that..

We both enjoyed our little walk down to the shore to visit this historical sight. They had a person charging a little fee to enter but he was basically guarding the sight. The story associated with this sight was pretty cool and I would recommend...More

Very interesting and atmospheric old church with an interesting story behind it. Be prepared to walk up and down quite a few steps to get to and from it. Next to a cute little beach.

Very high price to see nothing. Only a humid cave full of objects and images of dubious origin, without much information, stupid staff and with difficult access. Prepare to pay mercenaries while parking. This cave should be at least free compared to real museums.
