We visiting this lighthouse and surrounds, and discovered some amazing rock formations, caves, and two incredible rock pools. It's a bit of a climb down, but well worth the effort. We enjoyed an afternoon floating in the pools and exploring the caves and coves. Apparently...More
Unless you are close by on the West coast I would give this a skip purely as it's quite far out and there is literally nothing else around

I don't know if people can actually visit the lighthouse but we had great fun climbing down the cliff and making our way through the rocks and admire the impressive remnants of the ancient volcanic activity that created the island.

The Albion lighthouse has the best view that I experienced in Mauritius! A very peaceful, quite place! Usually there are not many tourists, and you can only see some fishing men beneath the cliffs.
Its a must do!
