Before our arrival, I sent an email to an ESF because we were arriving on Monday so it was impossible for my children to start on Sunday. They tell me no worries, they will do lessons from Tuesday to Friday.
Class time arrives, 2nd star group, very nice teacher.
Arriving on Friday, the teacher told me in front of them before starting: "they won't get it, they are less good than the others." I tell him, well yes they had 2 days less. Imagine the reaction of my children 😢
Afterwards, I have nothing against their teacher who throughout the week was very kind to them.
When they return from the course, obviously they are the only ones who have not had their 2nd star.
The teacher told me: "They're missing almost nothing, with 2 hours of private lessons that should do it." Obviously my husband and I take 2 hours more lessons (and €140 less in our wallet).
The private teacher arrives and immediately asks us if we are leaving the next day. I don't mean anything wrong at the time and tell him no, that we still have 2 days of skiing.
Coming back from class, he told us that he couldn't give them their star. There are still 2 hours of lessons missing!!! 😳
Who are we laughing at!!! I think ESF takes us for money pumps!!!
Sorry but it won't be! I really had the impression that if I had told him that we were leaving the next day, he would have given them their star!
My poor little ones didn't get their star. Hoping they will have it next year. 🤷‍♀️

Three boys 6,8,10 booked into total beginners lessons. The ski school exceeded our expectations. By the end of the week I was struggling to keep up with them! Their instructors George, Sonny and another gentleman were kind, fun and very professional. Our boys loved going every day and the instructors obviously have a talent for passing on their passion and skills for sking

First time skiing for our boys, Louis and Marceau. They loved the Piou piou (eucherts) club, very educational instructors, put children at ease (even the most timid) and allowed them to progress according to their abilities. Warm welcome, they both looked forward to getting there every morning!
We will come back to it next year!

Mayhem on first day, totally disorganised and no care for our beginner skiers. Will never use or recommend these.

This high resort had tons of fresh powdery snow, covering many, varied slopes for all abilities. Lots of variety for apres ski, and some good places to eat.
Make sure you go to the ice hockey - great fun!

Our two sons aged 12 and 9 had group lessons. This is only our second skiing holiday so they aren’t vastly experienced skiing. Both boys found their instructors to be friendly and encouraging and they all spoke very good English.
Their lessons were well structured and the boys had a great time every day, their skiing has vastly improved in only a week and they had loads of fun exploring the mountains.
I would recommend ESF for kids lessons without any doubt.

In january I went on my very first ski holiday and to say I was scared to get on the pist was an understatement. I booked my first hour lesson not knowing what to expect. I met my teacher Tierry, whos been teaching for over 30 years and relaxed instantly. After one hour I was desperate to continue, i then booked 2 hour lessons daily. Tierry was such a fantastic patient teacher, willing to push me so I got the most out of my lessons but he was also fully aware when I was scared. I would reccomend Tierry and ESF to anyone who wants to learn to ski. Its with every penny !

Each Sunday afternoon (2-5pm) ESF provide a FREE guided ski tour of the of the ski areas of La Rosiere and Les Eucherts. Our two instructors, both called Fabio, guided the party on lifts and down pistes stopping to give an informative commentary on geography, history and useful information. A stop at the highest point "the fort" is rewarded with a free drink of vin chaud. Don't miss this pleasant introduction to the area. Book in advance at the ESF office in La Rosiere or Les Eucherts. You do need to be comfortable on red runs but the pace is easy.

I took 3 days (2h each) of personal lessons to learn the basics of snowboarding.

Jerome from the ESF la Rosière (les Eucherts) was an awesome instructor, dynamic and cheerful, and helped me through all the difficulties a beginner could meet.
With only 2 hours per day, I was able to learn relatively easily, when my friends had wasted days and days painfully trying to learn on their own. At the end of the 3 days I was able to chain turns on a blue slope (not always perfectly mind you, but the feeling was there)

I'm definitely planning to get a full week of lessons next year :)
