You must spend a moment or two visiting this wonderful little gem of a chapel in the hear of Buttermere. There is the memorial plaque to AW Wainwright with a lovely view up to Haystacks. This is an idyllic place, very quiet and calm chapel.

I've been coming to Buttermere for 20 years and never gone in the church. It's lovely. I'd recommend popping in.
