Grey sand and pebbles, Really calm sea protected by a harbour wall and large Kalamata bay. No hassle from sund bed owners - really relaxed and well used by locals. Great for swimming

I was astonished by the fact they had special platforms for wheelchairs. Beautiful to notice they make a platform so everybody can enjoy the beach!

Though it is in Kalamata, this beach is clean enough to swim. There are plenty of beach bars with sunbeds and umbrellas, where there is no extra fee, one has just to buy something to drink or eat.

Beach is not great. Not sand, but pebbles and rocks. But the 6 kilometers is lines with beachside restaurants and bars. Nice olaces for eats and swimming.

This beach is a nice (though not that clean) long stretch of pebbles with clear water and plenty of taverns and beach facilities. However, it is not special in any way. Quite inferior to the Stoupa or Pilos beaches which are 30-40 min away and...More

I just had time for us to get our feet wet. The water was definitely warm enough to swim and we were there in the morning and we did see some swimmers already.

A nice little beach close to several cafes, it has soft sand that is nice to walk on, and reasonably shielded from big waves.

Kalamata is not a well known international location and thats its charm! Has a small airport and you can tour Mount Olympia from here as well as visit the vast Olive grows that surround the town.
