The Kalamata Farmer's Market (Agora) is a foodie haven and a must do when in the Peloponnese region or indeed in Kalamata. The market is open on Wednesday and Saturday from sunrise to sunset.

Kalamata Farmer's Market takes place every Saturbay and Tuesday. Famers arrives to the city sell their own fruits or vegetebles, cheeses (I can recommand you feta pickled in barrel), breads, cakes, sea food and meat. I was turned off by selling eggs in summer time....More

At the food market local farmers sell their own fruit and vegetables. At very low prices. The market is close to the castle.

A typical Greek open market that works twice per week and you can find almost everything .Avoid going there by car cause the parking its a mess.

Local people were so friendly with our children, gave us a lot of free samples, hugs and smiles. The fruit and veggies was amazing fresh to buy and the souvlaki's WAUW! :)

Nice selection of fruit, vegetables and local products from the areas around Kalamata. On a Wednesday and Saturday morning but worth getting there early.

Fresh veggies fish meats lots of choices busy spot go early in the day for making the most of the daily catch and stop for lunch for souvlaki the best ever yummy! The souvlaki spot is located at the entrance try not to miss it!
