We visit every year and buy ribbons to put on the trees along with everyone else however no ribbons were on sale even though shop was open & lady was very abrupt when asked, so the trees were full of surgical masks & were all over the floor looked absolutely awful, very disappointed

Well worth a visit on an evening for the sunset. Beautiful views across the bay and local area.

Its somewhat ruined by the amount of litter up there as there is a complete lack of bins, or even respect for the site. This needs addressing as its pretty gross.

Views are worth the walk - there is a bit of trash strewn about and the chapel is small but still worthwhile. My 5 and 8 year old were able to manage it fine.

There is a lot of steps but well worth it the views are stunning and a beautiful little church with lovely paintings inside.

This Greek Orthodox Church is well worth a visit if you are in the area - we were told to visit at either sunrise or sunset!
The church is on a hilltop accessed by a large number of steps which can be quite an issue on a very hot day but the views at sunset are excellent.
It’s a shame however that the grounds are not well maintained with over flowing litter bins and even what appeared to be toilet paper.

Worth a visit for half an hour or so to view the church and sit and admire the view. Make sure you take some water as you'll need once you've climbed to the top. Sadly there is a certain amount of litter which spoils things .

The Church at Ayias Elias in Protaras isn’t one for those who have mobility problems. I counted 164 Steps to reach the summit and the Church itself. Mind you once there it’s a lovely old Church and the views across Protaras and beyond are spectacular. There is a Refreshment Kiosk up top, so at least you can get a well earned drink and relax of one of the few seating areas. There is access to Free Fresh Drinking Water as well.

We walked here from Fig Tree Bay and were not disappointed. Such a beautiful church with the most beautiful views across Protaras. We took the steps up but apparently if you go behind you can miss out the steps.

Go here early in the morning so you get the view for yourself. It is an easy walk up some stairs. You need to spend only 15 minutes here.
