This church is a must see if you are mooving around this region. It is a massive breath taking creation in the small center of Kerimäki. In summer time good facilities are offered around the church.

Worlds largest wooden Christian church. 1848 There was not any heating designed into the church which is why it never burned down. Fascinating craftsmanship. Not used in winter except on Christmas Day.

It is the biggest wooden church in the world. You can freely enter during its opening ours and enjoy its unique spacious hall with balconies. You can park for free (for a few ours) almost in front of the church.

Maailman suurin puukirkko. Hyvin ylläpidetty, hauska nähdä kerran elämässä. Kaunis sisältä ja ulkoa. Biggest wooden church in the world in the lakedistrict. Beautiful in it's simplicity. Very lutheran in a Finnish way. Due to see if travelling nearby.
