Here at Paradise Surf we offer Lessons to people that are first timers or beginners and tours for the intermediate to advanced surfers who just want to go score some good surf minus the crowd. Barbados is a paradise island that combined with your instructor, current Caribbean Champion Bruce Mackie, his patient approach, passion and stoke on surfing we guarantee that you'll be standing up ripping.

We were on a cruise that stopped in Barbados. Not only did they get us in the day before but they were willing to pick us up at the cruise port. It was by far the funnest thing we did on the cruise! The instructor was awesome and we felt legit by the time we were finished! I cannot recommend this enough!

I went on a surf safari (guiding) with Dane, who was friendly, and professional. We went to Brandon's to surf and visited South Point and Surfer's Point. It was a good experience, and would recommend.

Noah was a great teacher. He was very pt and helpful. Both me and my nephew had a blast. Being able to stand up on board for the first time was awesome! Make sure to confirm location ahead.

Instructors were awesome, friendly and patient. The are we went was just beautiful, tons of turtles. We had 7 in our group, all first timers and they had a blast. The instructors even gave us some information on the Friday Fish Fry in town - great suggestion, tons of fun!

Absolutely amazing. Teachers were sooo nice to my 16 and 11 year old. Best experience of their whole trip- hands down. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I went for a surf lesson with Bruce. Learning to surf has been a dream of hers for some time. Bruce made it happen on THE FIRST DAY!! I could not believe how quickly she caught on thanks to Bruce. By the end of her second lesson she caught 40+ waves easy. Would recommend fun for the whole fam! Five stars

We were on a cruise and one of the stops was Barbados. I set up a surf lesson before hand. We were picked up by Christian, who is a surfer and a very nice person. He drove us to the beach and we met Bruce and Noah. Noah was our instructor and was just fabulous! Our family consisits of 2 parents and 2 teens. We were all able to stand up and surf by the end of the lesson. I am in my 50's and am not very athletic and even I was able to do it. Noah told us exactly what to do and was very helpful. Bruce came out and helped one of our party that was having trouble and was great. If we are ever in Barbados again we will be contacting them for another lesson.

Bruce is an excellent teacher, a very cool and modest person. The surf lesson is not only a great learning experience but a memorable one too. Thank you for making my dream come true. You rock!

My friend and I were in Barbados for the first time. By chance we met Patrick who is one of the instructors at Paradise and he suggested that we might find surfing to be fun. We decided to take him up on the offer and booked a lesson for the next morning. We were the only two to show and so my friend and I basically had a private lesson with each of Bruce (the owner of Paradise) and Patrick. Neither of us have ever surfed before but after only a few verbal directions on shore, we were both standing on the boards and surfing within 3 tries. We spent the next few hours surfing !!! and it was awesome! A super great workout which was soooo much more fun than I ever even imagined was possible. If I lived in Barbados, I would be surfing every day. I highly recommend that you give this a chance - Bruce and his team are wonderfully patient and skilled teachers. I never in a million years thought I would find myself on a surf board in the water let alone totally loving it.
Don't let yourself miss out on this truly fabulous and freeing experience in life if you have the chance to take it.

Bruce and Noah were amazing surf guides. Although I had been surfing a couple of times in the past I was pretty much a beginner and couldn’t have picked a better surf school. This was the best money we spent on our holiday and even booked a second session during our 1 week in Barbados because it was so fun! Thanks guys and hopefully see you again when we plan our holiday return.
