Everything is amazing from the exceptional panorama you can enjoy to the multitude of artifacts which date back to the pre.greek era of the area. Only negative comment: the museum hosts a wonderful equestrian bronze statue (similar to the one of Marcus Aurelius in Rome) but the room where it is kept is closed for renovation, apparently since many years!!! Why is it si difficult to renovate a room?? And if it so why don’t move the statue to another room, there’s plenty of space!!!

This was a great surprise for my wife & I. The artifacts were in great condition and the items dated back to several centuries BC. The only other people there when we visited were a few tourists and some school groups, but it was basically empty. This area was the playground of Roman Emperors and the variety in the museum was impressive. Hire a taxi from Naples. We were very happy with Fulvio (napoliprivatetaxi@aol.com).

Park up the hill, only €3. Only €4 or so to get it in. An amazing museum. Lovely place, great views.

Not well sign-posted but worth the search. Lots of stuff to look at and lovely views of the sea. Be prepared to walk a LONG way just to get to the entrance!

I came here with my family. There is a parking lot below the castle... it cost a few euros(depends on time of year). You walk up to the front gate and there is a ticket counter. I think it was €8... but this ticket let’s you visit two other sites nearby (Cuna ruins and baia ruins). The castle is large with basic gardens surrounding it. Panoramic views of the sea. A musium is inside the castle with artifacts from all over the region. The roof of the castle has a large plaza with more views. I have been here a few times and it is never very crowded (which is nice).
