Fantastic sandy family beach because streches for half a mile in waist height water; At low tide great place to find clams and cockles. Oyster and mussel beds nearby where you can observe amphibious crafts at work. At hand cheap camping site open july and august and open air restaurant/bar (called "sous le charme") that serves pancakes, steack-saussages-mussels with french fries, oysters and ice creams.

Nice little cove of a beach, quite different from the others in Saint Cast. There's a port area its left, from which boats work the oyster beds and give it a slightly industrial feel, but don't let that put you off. The beach has some nice soft sand and rock pools to explore. The trees and grass at the top give you somewhere to cool off or for a sand-free picnic, and there's even shade on the beach sometimes. The small snack sells ice cream and drinks (but probably only opens in high season). There's quite a bit of car parking, but be warned that the access road is narrow and bendy so drive slowly!

This is our favourite beach as we live close to it. It is quiet and being small ideal for families. When the tide is out you can walk for miles and go cockling. It never seems crowded so is perfect for all ages.

fascinating to see the work being done on the oyster beds and a great place to catch crabs. We once stayed in the chateau Le Bois es Lucas which introduced us to our favorite destination.
