A difficult to get to gem. A waterfall, sand at low tide, rockpools, what more could you want? The road down is bad, single track with passing places, but worth it.

The Lane down to the car park is not for the faint hearted (or those with low slung cars), but it Is well worth it, magnificent sweeping bay with sand, rocks, waterfalls and rock pools. Don't expect toilets or an ice cream van, just a...More

Lovely cliff walks Nice beach. No car park fee Easy access. People camp there. Not accessible for wide campers, restricted height under the trees on the way in. Bumpy uneven track down a narrow lane, not for the faint hearted.

Well worth a visit despite the long narrow, potholed track. Make sure you come in a van or 4 by 4 or you are liable to wreck your car! Amazing views and interesting geology. The waterfall is a great place to hang out and enjoy...More

Excellent find - we went to walk the dog (and boy!) on a windswept September afternoon. An invigorating and impressive place even off season! Can't wait to come back in the Summer!

We passed this hidden beach as we trekked along one of the tougher sections of the SWCP on a very wet and windy day. Nicely secluded if that's what you're seeking - but no amenities so come prepared.

The access to Welcome Mouth (National Trust) is via a narrow road. The overgrown hedgerows made it even narrower. Once to the car park (free to park) there is then a fairly steep pathway to the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach. The top...More
