This beach is super cared for, lovely sand, great sunsets and not too crowded (if you're not there for any holidays).

We stayed here 6 nights and didn´t want to leave. The beach is long, wide with white sand. We enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets and observing whales from the beach every day. We were here in late October, which is definitely not the high season so we appreciated the loneliness after 2 weeks of daily travelling through the whole Peru. There were only few resorts and couple restaurants opened in October but we didn´t mind. One small shop where one can buy the food and drink, if it is necessary. The Máncora beach is approx. 6 km away and you can walk there on the beach or take a tuk-tuk for 15 soles / 1 way. And after 2 evening visits in busy and noisy Máncora (with small beach and full of tourists) we were really happy we choose this heaven for our relaxing stay. The only disadvantage in this period – very strong wind in the afternoon. So we stayed in the morning in the sun on the beach and we went for a walk (or drink) after siesta :) There are not many places like this on Earth!

Good clean, uncrowded beach. We arrived here by taxi from our hotel in Piura...big expensive mistake. It cost us 230 Soles after a little haggling. He drove like a mad man for 2.5 hour journey. We discovered later that we could have made this trip by Eppo bus for 19 Soles each! The bus stops at Los Órganos from where you can take a mototaxi for 15 Soles to reach your hotel in Vichayito. Needless to say we returned to Piura by the Eppo bus in comfort and safety with more money in our pockets. The bus leaves Los órganos hourly.

This beach is really virgin. We stayed in a house 5 minutes walking to the beach.
We hanged out for hours.
Very secluded beach.

There are many ways to get ripped off here. Bring your own swimming goggles. Hire a life jacket for 3 soles to get a better view of the turtles. Enjoy!

I had unlimited access to this beach from the resort I was staying Vichayito Bungalows and Carpas (Tents). It is a very clean beach with horseback riding , kayaking, and surf activities. It was quiet also because there were no vendors to bother us on vacation. The icing on the cake was the beautiful sunset we were blessed with each evening as we enjoyed delicious pisco sours. I would love to experience this again.

Very nice sea, but windy beach. Big sandy beach and sea. Near Mancora beach and town. Some time in the year is less windy.
