Went on a speedboat ride through the mangroves. Our guide was hilarious and very knowledgeable and he pointed out a number of plants and animals we had never seen. Fun! Has a bar/souvenir shop at the dock.

Get into a speedboat and cross the lake into the mangroves. See the termite nests, air plants, and amazing scenery. Our skipper was a character, absolutely adored him.

I agree with cocomojoe. Cuba isn't one for keeping to schedules and bookings may depend on availability and weather. We booked through our tour operator. That way, I knew who to speak to if I had issues.
