Small museum but plenty to look at
Lovely little museum, just off one of the squares. No big sign outside, so make sure you know what you’re looking for. Very clean & well kept, nicely laid out & presented. 😊 I’m a bit of a geek & have visited other Greek museums so was a little underwhelmed, but that’s potentially just me. All the items were discovered on Kos at the surrounding historical sites. €6 per adult, they prefer correct change.

    Lovely small museum
This is a small reasonably-priced museum (6 Euros) with excellent and intereting exhibits which are well marked. Lots of poetry, and statues in the two floors of exhibits. Conveniently located just off the central part of Kos city.

    Nice little museum
Nice little museum in Kos Old Town! Worth of Visit, if you like to see historical statues etc. We were lucky to Visit on a day that the admission was free, but it is only 6€ for adults anyways.

Was 6 euros and it was worth all of that. Brilliant time in a place which is hidden away. Absolutely fascinating. Highly recommend

As others report the museum is well worth visiting. I am only marking down to 3 stars because visitors have to run the gauntlet of an extremely rude assistant who insists on charging double the listed price on the website all the while thumping on her desk to emphasise her point. It might spoil your visit.

6euro entry which takes you out of the heat for an hour seemed fair. But then I was happy to see information boards galore! Each archaeological site on the island has a section in the museum with details of the history, the dig, the finds. It was well laid out and each item had details in Greek and English. I saw a German couple using a translation app to read the information, which was probably a pain for them but at least they gave it a go. Statues and mosaics talk about the Roman gods and worship. Overall a lovely treasure trove to have a look through when you are walking through Old Town.

Great little museum and some very interesting objects. Everything clearly set out and labelled. Well worth the price of entry. Warning the door handle to the ladies is loose - do not get trapped like my wife - what is she like eh?

This museum is not big, but it has a nice collection of findings from different historical periods, therefore very interesting, and it is also located in the very center of the city, so it would be a mistake not to visit it. The ticket is 6 euros, and I would recommend it to be the first museum you visit, because there you can also buy a combination of tickets for several important locations on Kos, so that the total price will be much cheaper.
