It is a small museum which has an extra exposition about World War I. Children below 7 are free of charge. For the museum and the extra exposition we paid 21,60 euro. It is nice to see all those things from the past. The World...More

I felt there was no flow to the different rooms and essentially quite boring. I think it was €11 per person so not cheap.

The museum is located in the Hotel Austria building, and is three floors. They have everything about life in Bad Ischl; it's interesting how much they stress how long tourists have been coming to this area and then there's nothing in English. But not bad,...More

This is a well set up and informative little museum set out over 3 floors. It covers much of the town's history, salt mining etc and has quite a lot on the Kaiservilla and Emperor Franz Josef as well. A fair bit of info in...More
