Only two floors were open due to changes being made to exhibits. Admission was free. Lovely local art on one floor with a full floor dedicated to a contemporary exhibit of women artists. Excellent museum store. Perfect place to find special gifts or high quality...More

All the museums in Macau are free and way, way more interesting than any of the casinos. We always see thought-provoking and unusual exhibits at this museum. It's right next door to the Cultural Center, where my husband was guest-performing (banjo) with the Macau Orchestra.

The museum isn't that big and it's for free. I was pleasantly surprised. The photography section on the ground floor isn't impressive, but there's a whole series of water color looking paintings on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the Forbidden City and it's pretty...More

We liked the modern art exhibition in the museum, but also the standard exhibition about Chinese vases. Also the building itself has an interesting architecture.

Free Entry, short walk from Fishermans Wharf, Most of the modern art showcased here in my opinion not worth looking at or visiting the best collection would be on the highest floor with old artifacts and relics which made my visit atleast worthwhile. If you...More

It is a small museum but the display shows different variety of Chinese paintings and calligraphy, western paintings, modern arts using multiple materials, etc. As few people are present, it is a leisure and joyful experience to view the art entities. When you are tired,...More
