I'm not really sure why this was such a hot spot. There were loads of tour buses filled with Chinese tourists posing for pictures in front of the statue. There was nothing written in English about it at the site.
It's a Lotus statue given by China to Macau. It's a stop point for many tourists so it's always busy there, difficult (not to say impossible) to take a picture without anyone on it. Nice to see but nothing special to say about it.
