Kayak Equipment Rental at The Condado Lagoon

Our experience is really special because of the ecosystem of the lagoon. It is very common to come across manatees that feed on seagrass and that live in harmony with so many other marine species that live there. The lagoon is an important natural reserve that is protected for study and conservation as it is part of the San Juan Bay estuary. It also has a community of natural and artificial reefs that make the experience even richer. The flora, the mangroves, the landscape and how the species live in their natural ecosystem is an experience added to the sport to be performed in the lagoon. These conservation efforts seek to educate and increase knowledge for their conservation and the enjoyment of these beauties. The best thing is that it is centrally located at the entrance to San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico and the historic center that is the largest tourist attraction on the island.

Playa Buye is a favorite beach for locals. Friends and families meet at the beach to enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

Buye is another treasure in the west coast of P.R. The calm and clear waters are just fantastic. The only problem is that it may be a little crowded on the weekends.

Amazing swimming in clear water. Many places to be in shade or sun. Unfortunately, as with many beaches in PR, lots of trash. We bring our own trash bag and try to pick up trash as a thank you to Mother Earth. Less crowds on a weekday.

I was there last year and it was beautiful. They have picnic tables and trees for shade just look out for jellyfish they only wash up after a storm otherwise the water is just like the picture.

We spent two days in Boqueron, PR and went to Buye, Beach. Very cool area with a must see party atmosphere. The Mojitos were amazing! We brought some Medalla beers (in a can) and enjoyed the day. You are able to be in the mix or stay secluded. Please use common sense and beach etiquette. If someones belongings are hanging on a tree and their personal belongings are on the sand, next to said tree, that's their spot. Do not encroach unless you are looking for an unpleasant encounter. What you bring, you take with or dispose of in the trash cans provided, which includes bottle caps, etc. Keep the area safe and beautiful! Use common sense.
