Playa Buye is a favorite beach for locals. Friends and families meet at the beach to enjoy the beauty of the Caribbean Sea.

Buye is another treasure in the west coast of P.R. The calm and clear waters are just fantastic. The only problem is that it may be a little crowded on the weekends.

Amazing swimming in clear water. Many places to be in shade or sun. Unfortunately, as with many beaches in PR, lots of trash. We bring our own trash bag and try to pick up trash as a thank you to Mother Earth. Less crowds on a weekday.

I was there last year and it was beautiful. They have picnic tables and trees for shade just look out for jellyfish they only wash up after a storm otherwise the water is just like the picture.

If someones belongings are hanging on a tree and their personal belongings are on the sand, next to said tree, that's their spot. Do not encroach unless you are looking for an unpleasant encounter. What you bring, you take with or dispose of in the trash cans provided, which includes bottle caps, etc. Keep the area safe and beautiful! Use common sense.…
