You can get up by the funicular, which takes only some minutes. Up on the hill taxis are waiting for those who don’t want to climb. The walk is just 1,6 km but it’ s not easy, as the road is quite steep. But it...More

It's quite a hike up but reaps spectacular rewards. A good head for heights is required at the top of the lighthouse itself but you won't forget the views.

After having lunch in Brunate take a trip up to the lighthouse, here you will find an exhibit of Volta memorabilia - its worth it and the view is great

We walked up from the funicular railway and it was well worth it, pay the few euros to go up the tower for great views.

It's quite a tough climb on steep roads and paths from the top of the funicular and then 200 steps to climb up the lighthouse. However the climb is worth it. There are some brilliant views of Lake Como. Apparently there is a shuttle bus...More

Very steep climb on roads and paths but worth the view at the top. Bring water and a small towel with you, you’ll need it. It’s quite a workout.

Amazing views, a very steep climb up roads and off road and a killer 100+ steps right at the end but well worth the effort!

We've enjoyed our stay at the lighthouse, the panoramic views of lake Como are amazing. The trip up is not so bad, we've managed to do it with a pram by following the public road, although it did take a bit longer than the footpath

It's about 1.2 miles with 666 elevation from the tram. Worth the hike, you see beautiful homes and gardens. Great views of lake and town of Como below you. Don't want to him, hire a local to take you there and walk back.
