This is definitely worth doing, takes 6 or 7 mins to top up very steep incline. Great perspective from top and nice amble round a set route through village. Couple of restaurants at top which we didn’t feel like trying. Nothing looked very inspiring. It...More

It’s a very steep ride on the cable car but it is worth it for the views from the top. There isn’t much up at the top but the ride and views are worth it.

Must do in Argegno with a panaramic view of the city below. The city on top is called pigra which is a small village.

We really enjoyed this. Not the easiest parking situation and not much on top of the cable car but it’s still worth the trip. Park outside the town and walk down or take a shuttle. The views are absolutely breathtaking.

We didn’t go to pigra by the funiva. We drove to the village of Pigra and hiked around the beautiful little place. There are several well marked hikes from the village. On returning from our hike we dined at the first little restaurant next to...More

We really enjoyed this. It’s a short journey up and then we walked around the town and there are plenty of walks you can go off and do which have great views. The cable car worked over lunch time and was only 4.50euro each. We...More

The views from this funicular are much better than Como's Brunate funicular. It is positioned on the lake to see both north and south. Loved it! Easy to get to too. There is a bus stop specifically for the funivia just after the bus stop...More

Visited with 4 adults and 4 teenage kids in July 2018. The cable car, toilets and staff are great and helpful and the cable car is punctual. The view is stunning form the top but the only downside is there is not much to do...More

I don't think you can book tickets in advance but I don't think there is any need to anyway. If it is busy they will run every 15 minutes instead of every 30. When we went last year, the cost was €4.50 for an adult return... More
