Looked gorgeous in the Autumn and so peaceful. We walked around it by Castle Ward whilst doing the Game of Thrones Tour (highly recommended) for beautiful views and filming locations along the way. Locals were so friendly. Simply stunning!

There are lots of interesting things to see if you're touring around Strangford Lough . Strangford Yacht Club is beautifully situated with Mahee Castle close by . Especially pleasant on a sunny Autumn afternoon .

All it is is a flooded valley, but it is a beautiful one with strong tides, pladdies to catch the inexperienced boatman. The rolling hills of the south end contribute to the character of the place. For those who want to go to Portaferry, there...More

We travelled around the Lough by car taking in the views, which were lovely. Ended up crossing over on the ferry for lunch, which was very enjoyable. Saw some basking seals!!

Short, but enjoyable, journey on the Ferry from Strangford to Portaferry, but it would take a long time to drive up to the top of the Lough and back down the other side. Although a short trip the lovely scenery of the two towns of...More
