It's a well-marked path surrounded by very impressive hills. The cool part is that you can choose to go off the path and follow one of the unmarked tracks onto the hills. This can be a bit tough because of the altitude but it's nice...More

Incredible landscape! Very difficult to describe! You have to be there to enjoy its immensity and beauty! I went by car but you can climb it as well. Morning is advisable rather than the afternoon. It has to do with the light. So many adjectives...More

Better on morning and for adventurous hearts. Not long walking through the dessert. Incredible landscape. Take some water.

Go in the morning and start at the top of town (you will end up near the entrance to the town beside the cemetery). This way the light is perfect. Maybe if you go in the afternoon you should start at the bottom to get...More

We walked the few kilometres through the most beautiful scenery at dusk- with the sun on it it would have been even more spectacular.

Go at sunrise and you might be the only one on the trail, which is extra special. The light and colors change before your eyes. The experience is nothing short of magical.

Great walk with or without kids! bring sunscreen and lots of water. About and hour walk. You come back through the cementery of Purmamarca.

This is a 2km walk or drive along a dirt road around Purmamarca town behind the Hill of Seven Colours. It can be travelled in either direction but it is not clearly signposted at its south-eastern end. The surface of the road is not bad...More
