I admit I arrived late. Everybody had their gear on by the time I arrived, and they rushed me in to make the dive with the rest of the group. I was HUSTLING. But they were professional and made me feel welcome, and I made my dive. All was good. My only issue is that the moment we got back, the divemasters had a quick turnaround for the next group of divers, and they didn't go back to the office. So I never got my dive log signed by my divemaster. Others in my group decided to wait until they got back, but I didn't have time for that. No big deal, but I thought that was odd... no dive debrief, no handshakes, etc. BUT I'd rather THAT experience than self-isolating all year...

A Sunday with the boat quite full, Alberto our captain's birthday! The ant islands are interesting, although there are often not as many fish to see. Manel is an excellent guide who knows the places to dive with his trouser bags (flamingo expression).

We made 3 dives last weekend. All was perfect! The equipment was in good conditions, the boat is very confortable. Hector, Alberto, Iri, all staff were very kind to us. They sent us pictures and videos from one of the dive, which I think is very useful because we do not have cameras.

I signed up for 2 dives in the same afternoon, to be done with two separate boat trips (Llosas de Palamos y Ullastres I). Nobody from the diving centre ever asked me to show my certification card, which i found a bit strange. The day was sunny and hot, but very windy and the sea conditions seemed kind of ok from the shore.
We left from the local port with the Diving Centre boat at around 1.30pm: the whole group included around 15 people, with 2 instructors. People were from different levels, mainly advanced, but at least 4 were open water. After the first 2-3 minutes of navigation, i realised the sea conditions were not so good: on its course to the diving spot, the boat was rocking on the waves and people started to feel seasick. Some of them started to be sick.
Once reached the diving spot, we had to wait around 15 minutes for everybody to get ready...and more people started to feel sick. Before diving, there was no general briefing...this was only given to some individuals, but certainly not to everybody. Before leaving the port, it was agreed that one of the 2 instructors would take care of my friend as she is not that experienced, but no briefing was given to her nor equipment/buddy check was done to her by the instructor once we were all geared up. As i am a bit more experienced and confident than her, i did the buddy check to make sure she was ok. We were the last 2 to jump from the boat: by the time we were in the water, the rest of the people were had started their dive already, including the instructors, who did not wait as they should have. We then had to go back on the boat, as the captain decided we could not dive without any instructor. My friend was a bit weak, as she had to fight with the waves to get back to the boat and climbing up the ladder was not easy for her...the boat captain was not very kind while helping her out, as he asked her "to hurry up as he was tired of waiting for her to get back onboard". Once back on the boat, we had to wait around 40minutes for everybody else to emerge. Due to the sea conditions, that was definitely not a pleasant wait...we were sick, poorly and not happy at all.
Once everybody was back, we left the diving spot on our way back to the port.
I obviously avoided even attempting the second dive, as i was not in good conditions and i just wanted to rest. The diving club understood the way i was feeling, and returned me the money for the second dive. However no money was returned for the first dive even though i didnt actually dive at all, and that was due to the instructor who did not wait for us.
In general i was very disappointed with the whole organization, no briefing before the dive, no certification card check...and also with those sea conditions it would have been better to warn people before leaving the port. So i lost the money and spent the rest of the afternoon trying to recover...not a good experience and not good memories.

We booked our scuba diving in advance from the UK. They emailed all the relevant forms and info in English which was very helpful.
We could only make a morning dive as we had to get back on the cruise ship by a certain time and they obliged with a time to suit.
We had the diving baptism straight from the beach as we had never done it before.
The safety talk we had beforehand was excellent and we were able to ask questions.
The dive team was brilliant - very professional. They guided us and were with us all the time so we felt very safe.
We water was clear and we saw lots of fish and also a squid.
There was a debrief afterwards and decent changing rooms and hot showers.
Well done to all the team who made it a memorable trip!

I went diving with H20 about two weeks ago. Upon arriving I showed them my certification card and diving insurance. They took my card and put it in a rack on their office wall and said it would be returned when I returned the equipment. Although certified, I am still quite new to diving and am not sure of the procedures in many different dive shops (only having four dives). I came back from the dive, washed and returned all of my equipment, and then after a debrief about the dive I left. When I returned home, I realized they hadn't returned my diving card. I reached out and asked them to send it - which they agreed to do - and then they reached out saying it was too expensive and they wanted me to pay for shipping. Because it was taken in exchange for me returning the equipment (which I did), it is their responsibility to return the card. I then became nervous that they wouldn't send it or would say they would send it and actually wouldn't, so I asked for it to be sent through certified mail so I could track its progress. Now they have stopped returning my messages when I ask for an update on the shipping progress. I am disappointed in my experience and would not recommend the dive shop to others.
