The tower is nice to see from the outside, like from a coffee place across the road, but perfect to spend some time on a rainy day when you cannot do much in Ouranopolis. The exhibition is interesting to see and interesting facts to read...More

Very nice looking building, with the history on a board outside. However, this building houses the museum but was always closed.

It is a building form the 12th century. A great monument. You can visit the exhibition there and feel the history of the refugees from Asia minor.

You can now visit the Tower of Prosfori, the symbol of Ouranoupolis, from June to October. For many years, this Tower was closed to audience, due to difficulties.. Now, guests can visit the exhibition on the ground floor, and the room of the "Great Lady"...More

The tower is ancient and has been through several repairs and reconstructions over its 6 centuries! The history board outside summarises the history well but the tower was closed to the public so just viewing from the outside.

Beautiful tower but it was closed for visitors. The surroundings were full of parked cars both times we visited. It could be better if it was open for tourists and to have some information about it...

Old small fortress protecting entry to the city and the harbour. It is nice, unfortunately it is not open for visitors.

As far as I can tell, the tower isn't open for the public. You can only see the exterior.
