Ermita de Santa Lucia is located in a higher place near Alcossebre, a coastal town in Castelló Region. It is a typical mediterranean white church. Pitifully, we came here at evening and it was closed (july-2023). However, next to the church, there is a small interpretation center, where you can see a film , where it is explained the history of this place. I expect come again and visit the church.

Tricky drive up and a windy road but welk worth it. Amazing views of the many beaches and coves along the coast. If you want to make the trip extra special go and eat in El Pinar which you pass on the way up.

Well worth a visit on a clear early evening... Great views from the top. Beware...The road near the top has more potholes than flat road... Not the best if on a road bike! If cycling up...The climb is a challenge. Hits 20% near the summit. Nice scenery though

Sometimes you just need to get away from the beach and the August heat and head for a bit of elevation. The Ermita Santa Lucia is a pretty church with amazing views of the surround areas.
A word of warning .... it is an interesting drive up to the top .... please make sure you do it totally sober.

Nice drive to top.good views. No access to interior. Not much more to say except the cords should be redone. Not too hard but put on sneakers or hiking shoes

Cycled up from Alcossebre (electric assist) and boy was it worth it. Stunning road with some super houses on the way up.
Spectacular panoramic views from the church go up on a clear day, would be truly brilliant at sunrise !

It's a long way up, very windy roads, and a distance from the first signs so if you're not keen on heights don't go.
Magnificent views of surrounding country side and the sea.
Being totally honest if we had known how far it was, yes we could have found out, we wouldn't have bothered

After driving up some dodgy windy roads we came upon the beautiful church and discovered that it was worth the drive up. The views from all sides are amazing! mountains to one side and the spectacular beaches to the other. Beautiful.
We were lucky enough to be there as the church was open for bell ringing! It was beautiful inside.

Amazing views of the coast from here. Unfortunately the church wasn't open to visitors. We'll worth a visit if you're in the area

Pouvez vous me confirmer que le 13 décembre la chapelle est ouverte au public. Si oui, quelles sont les heures d'acces. Merci de votre réponse
