- Headhunter2001Las Vegas, Nevada157 contributionsNo problems using Seabus coming off a cruiseWas worried after reading reviews but no issues either way. Was given two sets of tickets, one for the trip to town and one for the return trip. Because of the volume from the cruise they were running multiple boats to Mykonos town to include a much larger boat that normally runs to Delos. Easy trip both waysVisited June 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 July 2023
- Flick5 contributionsEasy and convenientA very handy service for travelling quickly and conveniently between the Old Port and the New Port/Marina. This service was easy to use and was good value for money at only €2 per trip. It was also helpful because it ran frequently from early in the morning until late at night, so easy to find a Seabus service to suit a variety of plans and activities. It’s good to know that sometimes you can buy your tickets on the boat but sometimes (particularly later in the evening) it’s best to get the tickets form the ticket office before boarding. The staff on board do help with this if needed though :)Visited June 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 July 2023
- MagnetchiefTallahassee, Florida41 contributionsEconomic, easy convenient service. No issues at all €2 oneway. Don’t purchase a return, just buy the return ticket when you arrive in the old port. Use change not €100 bills. Be prepared to shove a little. It can be cramped. We chose to ride on the top. No issues found seats. Some people had to stand. Great value. Was interested to note that the emergency life rafts were secured down with plastic banding and the pull cords secured with cable ties. Can’t see that flying in the States. If the boat sinks, you’d better be able to swim. Maybe the expansion of the rafts in an emergency would break the bands. Would sure hope so. The boat is old and poorly kept. The service is inefficient (no credit card) and there are long queues.

When we bought the tickets they told us it would be 20 min to get from old port to new port where we needed to catch our ferry. It took over an hour and when they arrived they were in a hurry screaming and cussing people out so they would go faster so they could leave. Overall terrible experience and rude staff

No complaints about return transfer between New and Old ports on 21.07.2023.. It was all good. But beware when you buy the tickets. I paid 20 Euro note for two return tickets costing 2 Euro each. Instead of returning 12 Euros the guy at the counter gave me only 2 Euro back saying I gave 10 Euro. He wouldn´t believe me. Finally I gave up and said he can keep the money. I complained later again to the company but to no avail. If I paid a lot of money for the cruise why should I lie about 10 Euros. Therefore while buying tickets please give exact change. They are cheaters.

The sea bus is a convenient way to get from new harbor to old harbor downtown. We booked a two way ticket (big mistake) and paid 8 euros for two people. When we tried to go back to new harbor with the issued tickets, the same Sea Hustler insisted the ticket was only one way. He worked this scam with all the non-Greeks on the boat. I pushed back but he pretended to speak no English. Eventually we paid the extra 4 euros, but will know better to only pay for one way on the SLEAze Bus. All our other interactions with Greeks in the Cyclades were great, but this one left a bad taste in our mouths. Buyer beware!!

If your leaving from cruise you walk right off ship and you will see the sea bus sign. If your leaving from Mykonos you go to pier and follow the signs or the old fashioned way ask.
My clients will be in Mykonos on Nov. 18, 2019. Will the SeaBus likely still be operating?

I am not a 100% sure. However, that being said, I don't see why not. It should still be on.
Hope this helped.

Greetings from Mykonos -SeaBus.
We run from April till middle of November.
Weather conditions do not effect our sailing, since the SeaBus
runs betwenn the ports of Mykonos.
Upon cruise arrival at the port , departures are every 15 mins.

How long is the walk from the seabus into the town? I have limited mobility. Thank you!

SeaBus takes you right at the heart of Mykonos Town,
where shopping area and the main sights are.
The easiest way to reach town.
Any chance the Seabus is wheelchair friendly?
