The famous Windmills of Mykonos much like other iconic tourists spots around the world such as the Eiffel tower is quite underwhelming up close. I would highly recommend to see it from the distance to see how majestic and beautiful it is! Mykonos has a...More

If you are visiting Mykonos then visiting Windmills is a must. Nothing so special about windmill but the view from top of the cliff of Mykonos shore line is scintillating. Nearby to Windmills, there's everything one would desire for restaurants, club, market etc Overall a...More

One of the most popular tourist location to see the sun set in Mykonos. Just by the village town and near little Venice, parking is free, however you may want to arrive earlier as it gets crowded very quickly. perfect place for sunset photos.

A must see in Mykonos. Everyone gathers in this area as the sun sets and claps as the sun sets. Beautiful!

Probably the most famous and most photographed site in Mykonos Town (Chora). The view is fantastic, especially during sunset. Of course, it's crowded during summer, but take your time, grab a seat, and just enjoy the sunset and some people watching ;)

It's an icon of Mykonos so you have to go, but it's really nothing special. Just a few broken down windmills. Looks like they converted one of them into a house. Lots of junk around. Two stripped down, smashed up cars.

It is worth the walk to see the windmills of Mykonos. They are an iconic feature of Mykonos and provide a great view of Mykonos town and port.

The Windmills are awe inspiring. The fact that they have stood the test of time is amazing. If you travel to Greece, do not miss a visit to Mykonos.

I guess our expectations were really high before we saw this place. Something which can we seen everywhere. The sunset was good but again, nothing that great.
