You can enjoy a peaceful walk along the canal and be entertained by the boats tackling the staircase of locks in a pretty location. Lovely café right by them if you fancy a bite and/or a drink.

Quick stop whilst in the area , lovely to sit and watch the boats go through the locks. The cafe was a added bonus , reasonably priced and pleasant staff.

A very good spot to stop and watch the canal boats work their way through the locks. The Lockside café is nearby if you want a drink or snack. Good place.

Lovely walk along the canal. Lots of lovely narrow boats to see. Stopped at lockside cafe for refreshments then strolled back home.

This series of locks on the canal is so typical of what exploring England's canals is all about. The nice thing here is that there is usually a volunteer here to help you work your way through the locks. Don't just let them do it...More
