Skilled staff/owners with attention to detail. Knowledgeable with hours of flight experience, shared a lot of information about the surrounding area. Champagne at landing site and breakfast was a added bonus.

Up up and away in my beautiful balloon

The communication beforehand was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional and our pilot was very knowledgeable. Bucket list item ticked off. Would highly recommend it, the flight was fantastic

What an amazing experience!
I drove 4 hours to Drakensberg Ballooning to surprise my mum for one of her bucket list items (hot air ballooning)
The team were able to keep the entire thing a surprise until the following morning were we walked down to the launch site.
We had the coolest pilot! She absolutely loves what she does and she stays very professional. Really enjoyed how she gave information about the landscapes and history!
Most insane sunrise I've seen in many years!!! Thanks Tay and team! Highly recommended!

Really disappointing service!

We had booked a private flight and had this confirmed, unfortunately after chasing for a month to receive and pay the invoice to confirm the flight, they told us that a private flight was no longer available and they couldn't booked it.

I wouldn't have minded if this was communicated, but to of confirmed the booking, to of received an incorrect invoice for a shared flight and then to of been chasing for a monthnand unreliable.

Peaceful and breathtaking

Ianthé was an exceptional pilot. She was so friendly and informative. We loved waking up early to watch the balloon filling experience with coffee in hand and then getting to silently soar above the birds, fields and dams with the beautiful Drakensberg in the background.

What an unbelievable experience, one for the books! The organizing of this trip was easy and hassle-free. Ianthé is a very experienced pilot and she made us feel very safe and relaxed. Take off was on time and the trip very scenic. We had a perfect landing with sparkling wine and a scrumptious breakfast afterwards. I will definitely recommend this company

Couldn't have been better

Loved our flight over a game farm and then Drakensberg farmland. What a way to watch the sun rise! Ianthe was a great pilot, experienced, informative and very friendly. Flew with my parents and our children and we all had a memorable experience.
