We visited this place with a school trip. After booking the jeep tour with what we thought was a tour with a discount for large groups, we only had a museum visit + one guy explaining the history of marble for 8!!! Euro’s per person....More

The museum is very nice. There is a lot of marble and marble scolptures. There you can see a lot of tools for digging marble. There is also a small shop with home made marble products.

Fascinating how difficult life was for the Cavatori, well shown in statues, work tools, with the breathtaking view of the working marble quarries/ cave. Wonderful!
