The site has recently opened after an extensive refurbishment. It now has a lovely entrance to the site. The lady on reception was lovely and apologised that the refurbishment wasn't quite finished because of the bad weather they had experienced. The mosaics are now covered...More

I get really annoyed when places do not advise if the place is close or not follow the hours they put in tripadvisor o pages. Going to this place and seeing a huge sign that is close due to reparations and other things. Touristic area,...More

Interesting site, based both in its age and the woman who dedicated her life to seeing the ruins recovered. Great for a rainy day, particularly for archaeology passionistas!

We stopped where and the museum recommended in the nearby town. As mentioned by others, the mosaics are incredible. They provide a guide in English and other languages that cover the same information which was very helpful.

Amazing sight. The ruins of a Roman manor type house, and quite extensive ruins too. Intact floor tiles in places and even a cut away to see how the floors were constructed so they could be heated. Easy walking distance from Montreal-du-gers. Interesting back story...More

Many good condition floor mosaics, and a good idea of the layout of a decent Roman villa. Easy access with children.

The mosaics are lovely and the history of the discovery of the Seviac Roman Villa is fascinating. Tour the Villa with multilingual information booklets that really bring Seviac alive.
